The Edina Historical Society was formed in 1969 to collect, preserve and tell the story of our community as it grew from a small mill town to a bustling suburb. We operate the Edina History Museum at Arneson Acres Park and history programs at two of Edina's oldest buildings, Historic Cahill School and Historic 1879 Minnehaha Grange Hall, located at Tupa Park. The Edina Historical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on the support of its members and the public.
The Edina History Museum is located in Arneson Acres Park and houses two exhibit galleries, a research library, and collections storage. The museum is open Tuesdays and Saturdays at 4711 W. 70th Street Edina, MN 55435.
The Historic Cahill School and Historic 1879 Minnehaha Grange Hall are located in Tupa Park at 4918 Eden Avenue Edina, MN 55424. Historic Cahill School is on the National Register of Historic Places and these sites are in use year-round for school field trips, summer day camps, and adult learning opportunities.
