Description
Skirt: Heavy black wool skirt. It is ankle length. It is gored. There is a box pleat dow the center front. There is a brown grosgrain cotton waistband. There are two hook & eyes and three metal snaps in the back. There are two large hooks in the front inside waistband. There is a brown cotton loop by hook. It has an 8" hem with stitched horizontal decorative lines at the top and bottom of the hem. The skirt is unlined. Condition - It is in excellent condition. The skirt was made in Norway circa 1775 and belonged to Annette Finnesgard of Kenyon (200 years old in 1975).
