Railroad wagon with curved front rack. Acquired from Schroeder Construction. Loren Schroeder brought two of them to PCHS at the time the windmill was moved to make room for the Holland Cabin. One was transferred to the UMM Theater Department in 2008. Mr. Schroeder approved this transfer. Steve Nestor also commented that these wagons were used around the Glenwood Bridge Co. lot to move wood cribbing. The wagons originally were used at rail yards to move freight or passenger bags. They are light enough to pull by hand. The handle is spring loaded to stand upright and also engage a braking system. When the handle is pulled forward is disengages the brake. The handle/tongue has a large ring for ease of pulling by hand or to slip into another machine hitch.
