Description
Lot of five Morris Area Centennial ties on cardboard backings. Five unused clip-on “western colonel” ties. They read, “Morris Area Centennial 1871 1971”. (a) Red ribbon with yellow type (b) Blue ribbon with yellow type. Fading/discoloration on outer edges of bow, especially on proper left. (c) Gray ribbon with yellow type (d) Green ribbon with yellow type (e) Black ribbon with yellow type
Five colored bow ties mounted on light cardboard stock; one each red, blue, gray, green, and black; “MORRIS AREA / CENTENNIAL / 1871 / 1971” printed in yellow ink on the tails of each tie; clip-on mechanism made by Ormand. Bow ties were offered for sale during the Morris Area Centennial in 1971.
