DeLaval Cream Separator
DeLaval cream separator, including separator, bowl, two spouts and floats. Was used on the farm to separate cream from whole milk. The cream was hauled to the creamery where it was sold to be made into butter, which was shipped to the Twin Cities by rail. The skimmed milk was usually for household use or was fed to livestock. Donated by Andy Hanenburg of Pease.
