Description
Wooden butter paddle; large, slightly hollowed bowl; handle has hook carved into back; smoothly finished. Used by donor's mother, Julia L. Gahm, for making butter at home (for home use only) between 1915 and 1935. Used to work buttermilk out and salt in.
