"This stuffed cotton doll, representing the everyday dress of the Kiowa tribe in Oklahoma, is wearing buckskin boots, a blue dress, blue cotton print apron, and a plaid woolen shawl which holds a papoose doll in the back. Her hair is plaited into a long braid falling on each side of her face in front. The doll is 14 inches high and was made by Ruth Whitefox, a Kiowa girl from the Riverside Indian school."
