"This rabbit's foot is beaded at the top to form a woman, with a hoop-type, blue and yellow beaded skirt. The Plains Indians believe that if you carry a rabbit's foot, it will being you good luck. I (Cleora Helbing) was given many, but I always gave them to other people who were interested in having them. In storage some of my most beautiful ones had the fur eaten off them, so I had to burn them."
