The lid is 4.25 inches in diameter.

"This keg-like pouch with its attached cover is made from tan root and grass and is 4 1/2 inches high. It is very valuable, having been made for me by Marianne Ferry to show how the Hoopas used to carry their tobacco. This pouch is laced with Indian cord made from deerskin." 2007 - The lid is no longer attached and one of the deerskin laces is loose and dangling. There are 12 rows of 11 stitches per inch.
