Description
"Wooden Madonna Wall Plaque. This 6 1/4 by 4 3/4 inch wall plaque is carved out of mountain mahogany into the upturned face of a Madonna. Only 16 lines were used when Russel Brown, a Washoe at the Stewart Indian School, Carson City, Nevada, was told to carve his version of the Virgin Mary. This was given to me in 1940."
