Description
This egg-shaped bowl with an almost pointed bottom and rounded top was made by the Hopi / Tewa potter, Nampeyo. It was fired from yellow clay which turned gradated shades of orange. Around the rim is a border of black triangles. It is 4 1/2 inches high by 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The design of the triangles repeats three times around the rim.
